UI/UX Design
Redesign Website
Background
The current health equipment website lacks modern design elements and user-friendly features, resulting in a subpar user experience and low conversion rates. To address these issues and improve user engagement, a redesign project has been initiated.
The Problems
The existing health equipment website suffers from outdated design, complex navigation, and a lack of responsive design.
1. Research and Discovery:
I did research to analyze competitor applications and industry best practices for inspiration and insights.
Design Process
Identify Competitors
The Result
Research and identify existing health equipment websites and platforms in the market. Some potential competitors may include:
Medical supply stores with online presence (e.g., Medline, Henry Schein)
E-commerce platforms specializing in health equipment (e.g., Vitality Medical, AvaCare Medical)
Evaluate Features and Functionality
Analyze the features and functionality offered by each competitor's website, including:
Product selection and variety
Search and filtering options
Product information and specifications
Assess User Experience
Evaluate the overall user experience of each competitor's website, focusing on:
Website layout and navigation ease
Mobile responsiveness and usability
Loading speed and performance
Visual design and aesthetics
Clarity of information presentation
Ease of finding products
Review Customer Reviews and Ratings:
Read customer reviews and ratings for each competitor's website on review platforms, social media, and e-commerce websites.
Pay attention to common complaints, positive feedback, and overall customer satisfaction levels.

Objectives
Improve User Navigation
Enhance Mobile Responsiveness
Optimize Product Pages
Enhance Accessibility
2. Define User Personas:
Create user personas representing typical users (e.g., Medical Facility Manager, Medical Professional) based on research findings.
Identify their goals, pain points, behaviors, and preferences related to health equipment need.

Mr. Patel
Mr. Patel is a 50-year-old medical facility manager responsible for purchasing medical equipment in bulk for his hospital.
Background
He finds it time-consuming to search through websites with limited filtering options and prefers a streamlined purchasing process for bulk orders.
Challenges
Mr. Patel needs to quickly find and order medical equipment in large quantities, manage accounts, and track orders.
Goals:
3. Information Architecture
Develop a new sitemap and information architecture to create a more intuitive user flow.
Define clear categories and navigation paths for different user personas.
